I'm going to be at the Pittcon conference this year March 4-7. I will be giving a talk on the Tuesday on Open Source Tools for AnIML. AnIML is a new ASTM standard, under development, that will change the way analytical data is stored.
If you are a software developer, in the scientific field, and will be at Pittcon, I'd like to meet you. Developing software for instrumentation is a niche market and there are not many of us out there.
If you are a student interested in developing software for instrumentation, please send me an email (jamie---scimatic---com).
I'm looking forward to leaving my igloo here in Toronto and heading south! See you next week.
